1. When it all kicked off

Back in March we launched our second programme with a cohort that included designers, dramatists and development grads.

2. When we realised the power of the word

The Writing for Social Change course ran throughout the programme, encouraging Fellows to explore their use of writing to tell people’s stories and inspire action.

3. When the Fellows designed their first projects

Once settled in their placements, Fellows embarked on their innovation projects – from art exhibitions produced by the over 65s to market stalls staffed by young homeless people.

Challenged to produce a conversation dinner in Bethnal Green, the Fellows came up with Soul Food.

In May London Live covered Beer Here, our regular meetup for grads who are ambitious about social change.

6. When we went into the wild

Taking a break from the social venture incubator, we headed into the woods with the guys from Good for Nothing, for some deep reflection.

7. When we raised £13,500 in one night

The culmination of our social venture incubator, crowdbacker saw the Fellows pitch for assistance, buzz and capital to boost their ventures, including Settle, Curiosity Club and Birdsong.

8. When we flew over the grass

Flying over the grass is about finding creative solutions to social problems. Drawing inspiration from SkateistanFight for Peace, the Focus E15 mums and many more, Fellows prepared to deliver community engagement projects to local authorities across London.
