Afolabi Adekaiyaoja

2017/18 Fellow

Afolabi was born and raised in Nigeria. He moved to the United Kingdom and graduated from Queen Mary, University of London with a degree in International Relations. After graduating, he interned with Marsh before working part-time for the LIMUN Foundation as Secretary-General of the 2017 Conference. He also volunteered with Future Frontiers and as a member of the organising team for TEDxEuston.

Afolabi’s passion lies in the exchange of ideas and the resolution of conflicts and arguments through debate and education. He is passionate about developing solutions to the issues in whatever community he finds himself in – whether in London or back home in Nigeria. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, writing, watching movies and television and getting lost in London, especially in the city's parks.
