Angela Tolliday

2018/19 Fellow

Being of Peruvian and British heritage, Angela has been awakened from a young age to the global inequalities that exist in this world. This led to a career in international development where Angela has 6 years’ experience working in the field of youth, non-formal education and cultural relations in Wider Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. This has included managing youth capacity building projects for the European Commission and lobbying to eliminate poverty with the ONE campaign.

For the last 3 years Angela has worked with the British council in Ukraine and Egypt designing projects to support marginalized young people. She has most recently been leading a programme to support the social and creative enterprise ecosystem in Egypt. Angela is particularly passionate about how we can create socially-aware global citizens who take ownership of what goes on in the world around them at a local and global level.
