Asher Spencer

2019 Fellow

Asher graduated from the University of Nottingham with a First Class Degree in Philosophy. He has a passion for travel which he has combined with a long-held desire to create positive social impact. Following this path has led him to volunteer in a number of roles overseas, ranging from forest conservation efforts in Borneo to teaching English to the indigenous Achuar of the Amazon, and a year post-university working with underprivileged children in Colombia, whilst studying to acquire Spanish proficiency.

Having found these contributions immensely fulfilling, he is now turning his hand to social innovation in London. He is particularly excited at the prospect of using entrepreneurial skills to bring about social change, especially in the homelessness sector.

Asher is an avid reader and keen practitioner of Muay Thai.
