Hebe Foster

2018/19 Fellow

Born in London, Hebe was partly raised in Russia and has a background in languages. Her studies in French & Russian allowed her the chance to spend a year abroad in 2014-15, during which she studied politics in France and volunteered for women’s charities in Moscow. Inspired by this, she took a year out after university to learn about the women’s sector in the UK, and also spent some time volunteering and travelling around the rural regions of Georgia and Armenia.

Most recently, Hebe worked at Morgan Stanley for a year, which has given her an insight into the private sector and how it interacts with the public sector and social entreprise. She hopes to use this experience and her languages to build stronger links within communities.
