Kevin Chang

2017 Fellow

Kevin is an Engineering graduate from the University of Cambridge. After an initial foray into the world of software engineering, which included two internships and the development of a new smartwatch text-input method for his Masters project, he decided to redirect his problem-solving skills to address social issues. This led to a Balloon Ventures placement in Uganda, where he worked with small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to develop innovative, sustainable business models.

Kevin is passionate about both understanding the theory behind, and taking action on social change. His involvement in the political scene in Cambridge has seen him elected as NUS Delegate for the university, writing articles for student newspapers and organising, chairing and speaking at political society events.
