Matt Pullen

2019 Fellow

Matt achieved a double First Class Degree in International Relations with Communication, Media and Culture from Oxford Brookes University. Whilst studying he also completed a number of volunteer roles in the areas of international development, education and community.

Upon graduating, Matt joined an entrepreneurial development programme run by the New Entrepreneurs Foundation where he worked for fast-growing technology companies, gaining experience in project management, sales and product development. He developed his own business from idea to prototype (an eCommerce platform for sustainable lifestyle alternatives), securing mentorship and offers of investment from business leaders.

Matt now joins Year Here to be part of a group focused on tackling social injustices; gain insight into frontline public services and learn how service design and social innovation can help those who are most vulnerable.
