Sunil Suri

2016/17 Fellow

Sunil is the founder of A Good Life, an emerging digital platform that supports frontline workers in the homelessness sector to be brilliant at their jobs.

During Year Here, he was placed with P3 and St Mungo's, working with young people in care and homeless adults with substance misuse and mental health issues. He developed the idea for A Good Life after recognising that funding cuts meant that more and more frontline workers were unsupported in their jobs and struggled to find opportunities to improve their practice.

Before Year Here, Sunil worked at The Carter Center, supporting President Carter’s mediation efforts in East Africa, the Department for International Development, Cabinet Office and Saferworld. Despite forging a career focused on tackling conflict and insecurity, Sunil is now exploring how entrepreneurship can be used to effect positive change in the UK amidst growing economic, political and social tensions.
