Year Here wins Evening Standard competition

As featured in December 19th's issue, Year Here has won the Evening Standard's Ideas for London competition.

The Room for London is a one-bedroom installation in the form of a river boat – from Artangel and Living Architecture, and in association with Southbank Centre.

As featured in December 19th‘s Evening Standard, Year Here won the Ideas for London competition.

The competition, sponsored by the Evening Standard and Artangel, recognises Londoners’ most remarkable ideas for the capital. Year Here’s prize is a night in a Room for London, an architectural installation (pictured above) that sat atop Queen Elizabeth Hall throughout 2012 as part of the London 2012 Festival.

Year Here’s founder, Jack Graham, hosted an evening in the installation in February 2012.
