Meet the Fellows: Our Twelfth Cohort

Introducing our newest cohort of social changemakers

We’re delighted to announce our twelfth cohort, the 2020 Fellows. This group of twenty-one changemakers are bringing their skills and experience to the world of social innovation. They’ll be spending the next ten months learning to use social entrepreneurship to tackle some of the toughest issues facing the country.

Jared Joseph-White

JARED JOSEPH-WHITE

Jared’s background is in human-centric design and sustainable development, bringing together models that work for communities and nature.


Charlote Ogilvie

CHARLOTTE OGILVIE

Charlotte has 6 years of experience as a communications specialist, most recently for a barristers’ chambers with a focus on human rights.


NOVA ARKNEY

Nova joins Year Here from the fast-paced world of software start-ups – most recently from a role in the new business team of a multinational company.


Monica Pun

MONICA PUN

Monica, an optometrist with 7 years’ experience, has worked within the NHS and previously led the learning and development team of an eyewear start-up.


Imogen Faux

IMOGEN FAUX

Imogen is a communications consultant for the climate and development sectors, and previously worked at the news desk of an Egyptian paper.

KEVIN FAY

Kevin joins us from Buenos Aires, where he worked as a public policy planner for the city, and founded a social innovation academy for young entrepreneurs.


Libby Brewster

LIBBY BREWSTER

After 10 years of working in manufacturing operations, Libby founded a conscious living startup focused on the wellbeing of both people and planet.


Kertrina Little

KERTRINA LITTLE

Kertrina has spent the last 6 years as an educator, both as a primary school teacher and with NGOs, and joins us to tackle inequality in education at a greater scale.


Sarah Kingston

SARAH KINGSTON

For the last decade Sarah has worked in fundraising roles in the non-profit sector, and joins us to explore sustainable models for social change.


Miriam King

MIRIAM KING

With 8 years’ experience across the apparel and fashion industry, Miriam is interested in the topic of loneliness as a social issue.


Vaughan Mottley

VAUGHAN MOTTLEY

Vaughan previously launched his own clothing brand, and joins the programme to explore social entrepreneurship as a tool to transform society.


Nikita Montlake

NIKITA MONTLAKE

Nikita joins us from the advertising sector, where she’s delivered sustainability rebrands for global campaigns.


Alex Delaney

ALEX DELANEY

With a background in PR management for the video game industry, Alex joins Year Here to tackle social inequality and generate positive impact.


Rosalinda Baker

ROSALINDA BAKER

Rosalinda is an ethnographer turned Innovation Consultant, who plans to harness business as a force for social change.

ELLEN MILES

With a background in design and illustration, Ellen has spent the last 4 years as a brand and creative strategist in the advertising industry.


Katherine Cheng

KATHERINE CHENG

Politics and International Relations graduate Katherine has been working on HIV Policy and Strategy at the United Nations in Geneva.


Winnie Ogwang

WINNIE OGWANG

Winnie joins Year Here after three years of experience working in a venture that built social housing for displaced people in Bristol.

Sophie Imber

SOPHIE IMBER

With an interest in healthcare, Sophie has been working as a technology consultant across the intersections of science, health and tech.

Agnes has recently returned to the UK from Athens, Greece, where she ran a school for refugees and asylum seekers.
