Louise Lap

Louise joined Year Here after spending the last 4 years working for charities, social enterprises and international development consultancies. Her experience is in helping charities devise and deliver campaign strategies to encourage the public to engage in global issues. She became particularly interested in the power of communications to help address complex issues. What she enjoyed most about this experience was being able to offer innovative, creative ideas that help to shape public-facing campaigns.

Despite developing a career in the international development sector, Louise is really keen to explore how entrepreneurship can help address societies most pressing issues and is eager to focus more on domestic social issues. She is excited about the opportunity to immerse herself in a project to deliver solutions to some of these issues, whilst meeting like-minded people on the programme.
