Aaron John

2017 Fellow

Aaron was a 2017 Fellow. He completed his frontline placement with City Gateway and advised Hounslow Council as part of his consulting project. He was mentored by Ahmad Brigolin.

Aaron joined the Year Here fellowship as a graduate of Bangor University where, in 2015, he received his degree in Law. He stayed on to gain a Master’s in Public Procurement and Strategy. It was at university that he found his passion for social entrepreneurship. He became the founding President of the Enactus Bangor team, which focused on setting up student-led social enterprises. Working closely with local and national companies as well as the local council, Aaron helped establish the team as a bridge between the local community and the university. Aaron is an advocate for the collaboration of social innovators, who in turn can create a community of individuals working toward lasting social change.
