Alice joins us from the national homelessness charity Crisis, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in finding solutions to end homelessness and supporting and empowering those experiencing it.
Originally from Bristol, Alice studied Sociology and Spanish in Oxford and has taught English in Spain before moving to London in 2013 to develop a career in the charity sector. She has coordinated a variety of innovative community and voluntary projects, including a parent mentoring scheme which worked collaboratively with social care teams in Croydon to reduce harm to children safeguarded by child protection plans.
As a trained coach, she has facilitated peers to achieve successful career outcomes and enabled recently housed individuals to independently maintain tenancies and move forward with their lives.
Alice is determined to develop bottom-up approaches to solving societal issues and ensure that living life to the full is possible for everyone, not just the privileged few.
