Amii joins us from a leading national education charity where, over the past five years, she has gained experience in programme operations and event management. Her passion for tackling educational disadvantage was forged through her previous roles as a tutor and teaching assistant in schools across Greater Manchester. In her spare time, she also volunteers as a mentor for young people through projects run by an online mentoring charity, Brightside. Alongside this experience, Amii is also a keen advocate for the transformational power of the arts and works as a programme coordinator for an independent short film festival. She strongly believes that access to creative subjects and careers should not be determined by socioeconomic background. Having studied for an MA in Digital Media, Culture and Education at UCL before the pandemic, Amii is now determined to explore innovative solutions that foster a more diverse and equitable future for young creative talent.
