A year to test and build solutions to some of society's toughest problems.
Anna was a 2016/17 Fellow, mentored by Daianna Karaian. Her frontline placement was with Origin Housing in Camden where she developed a personalised employability programme to help people develop self-efficacy and confidence in their job search. She went on to work on a consulting project on the Gascoigne Estate in Barking, canvassing local people to understand the needs, assets and ambitions of the estate’s residents.
Before Year Here, Anna worked as a teaching assistant in primary schools supporting children with special needs, set up and run a community choir and led a regular music workshop in an HIV rehabilitation clinic.
