Ben Kaye

2021 Fellow

Having graduated from the University of Exeter with a 1st class Economics & Politics degree, Ben joins Year Here having worked across chilled food categories with some of the UK and Ireland’s largest grocery retailers. His time in the industry has included delivering first-to-market innovation and projects to help combat food waste.

More recently, Ben has turned his focus to innovative solutions to help improve people’s diet. This resulted in Bare Fruit’s founding, which seeks to use its platform and products to promote the benefits of increased fruit consumption. Ben is passionate about using diet to enhance mental and physical wellbeing across all segments of society and is keen to better understand the barriers surrounding this.

Ben’s enthusiasm for travel has seen him visit every corner of the globe, some from the comfort of his own home, as part of the travel podcast The Departure Lounge.
