Charlotte Ogilvie

2020 Fellow

Charlotte Ogilvie is a communications specialist with a flair for storytelling, visual arts and languages. She graduated with a History degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies in 2014 and has since worked across a variety of communications and editorial roles internationally, from Bangkok to Amman, predominantly for the British Council.

She speaks French and Mauritian Creole and is keen to improve her Arabic and Farsi in particular. Charlotte is a keen portrait and event photographer, with a penchant for handcrafts and cooking dishes from around the world. When she can, she freelances as a pro bono communications consultant for small charities and social enterprises working on causes she supports.

Charlotte joins Year Here from Garden Court Chambers, a high-ranking barristers’ chambers based in central London committed to human rights, social justice, and equality.
