Ellie co-founded Deeds, a platform connected socially-minded young designers with community groups that need their help.
She was a 2015 Poplar Fellow placed at housing charity Tower Hamlets Community Housing, where she created an interactive map to highlight community assets. She went on to work on a research project for Poplar Harca to understand the health and social care needs of older residents in the area.
Before Year Here, Ellie worked on a range of projects as a freelance designer, facilitator and teacher.
