Emma Southgate

Emma is currently a design strategist at Doblin, Deloitte’s innovation consultancy.

Previously Emma was a director of Design and Innovation at Participle, which used a design approach to solve the world’s problems. Emma led projects such as as Backr, Participle’s flagship employability venture which was recognized by Nesta as one the best example of employability innovation in the UK.

She has a wealth of experience designing innovative public services as well as developing them to fully functioning enterprises. She has worked across a wide range of sectors including ageing, employability, families and health.
