Eva is on secondment from the Civil Service Fast Stream. She has had varied postings – in digital trade policy, competition policy, and in the prison service, working on the Equality and Diversity agenda across men’s prisons in London.
Eva graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in French and Italian and has a Masters in European Studies from KU Leuven in Belgium. Her dissertation focused on the social integration of refugee women in Belgium, inspired by her time spent volunteering with young asylum-seekers during a year out in Paris. Eva has taken part in numerous volunteer projects since leaving school, including running music workshops for dementia sufferers and teaching Burmese refugee children in Malaysia.
In her spare time, Eva enjoys singing, reading, travelling and getting to know new cultures – through music, food, and languages.
