Evelyn Ofori-Kuragu

2017/18 Fellow

Evelyn was a 2017/18 Fellow, placed at the Children’s Society. She worked within their London hub, where she supported young people at risk from across the capital. For the consultancy phase, she worked with Snook on a report delivered to the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) on the implementation of the Olympic Park legacy project, with a special focus on regeneration and cultural education. She was mentored by Lauren Currie.

Before Year Here, she worked for the Bethnal Green Ventures (BGV) team, supporting tech for good startups and delivery of the accelerator programme. Evelyn also worked as an Innovation Coordinator at Digital Catapult – supporting business in the early adoption of advanced digital technologies to grow the UK economy. She was also a founding member of the Young Africa Centre, providing personal and professional opportunities for Afro-Caribbean people aged 16-25.
