Felix has a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s in City Design and Social Science from LSE. Having graduated in 2015, he began work in development strategy and joins Year Here after three years at a small consultancy firm, where he created long-term masterplans for new towns and university campuses.
Felix left consultancy last year to refocus on the cities discourse and to dedicate himself to some of the prominent issues explored in his Master’s degree. Foremost among these is the reception of migrants and refugees in cities, in particular how metropolitan governments and local authorities can do more to aid integration. In 2020 he helped to research these issues for a US-based housing non-profit but, having been born and raised in London, Felix is looking forward to bringing these ideas to the UK context.
