Fiona Wallace

2019/20 Fellow

Fiona has 8 years of experience working in research consultancy for non-profit organisations. She has helped charities evaluate and strengthen their engagement with a range of audiences including the public, MPs, journalists and healthcare professionals.

Always curious about the breadth of potential approaches to tackling social problems, Fiona is interested in the ways communities, charities, companies, government and social enterprises could best interact with each other.

Fiona is from Edinburgh and has a degree is in Human Geography from the University of Durham. She is particularly enthusiastic about social research that puts participants at the heart of the process (Participatory Action Research).

Outside of work, Fiona is a keen cyclist. She spent last year living on a narrowboat in London, which sparked her interest in the development of affordable and sustainable solutions to the housing crisis in London.
