Francesca is passionate about food. She believes we need to make a sustainable and equitable food system that enables everyone to access and afford healthy and safe food. She received a first-class degree from the University of Bristol in physiology, then followed her passion to study public health nutrition at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She has been working there since as a researcher in nutrition and sustainability and is soon to receive her doctorate.
Throughout her life, Francesca has volunteered in various charities. She wants to improve the lives of others and is hoping Year Here will help her to find her path. Francesca grew up just outside of London and is half Welsh/half English. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with family and friends. She is a big foodie, and enjoys yoga, running, and outdoor activities.
