Freya was a 2018 Fellow. For her Frontline phase, she was placed at City Gateway, an alternative provision school based in East London. She helped deliver a consultancy project for Hillingdon CCG.
Before Year Here, Freya’s Anthropology degree was followed by her spending time in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans. Volunteering at a grassroots charity, rebuilding homes and connecting with victims of Hurricane Katrina, reignited her passion and belief that local and international volunteering efforts are important in connecting communities.
