Harriet Joseph

Harriet was a 2018 Fellow. She was placed at City Gateway as part of her frontline placement and Make Shift Foundation for her consulting project. Her mentor was Louise Armstrong

Harriet studied Anthropology and Sociology at Goldsmiths University. After graduating, she interned at Clear Village, a charity that helps communities reach their full potential by combining ideas, spaces and people. She was tasked with improving the lives of young people on the Regents Estate. Immediately before joining Year Here she worked at tech startup Houzz in a leadership role. She gained invaluable experience in the commercial sector, helped grow a global business and developed an unexpected appreciation of home design.
