Growing up in different countries, Isotta cultivated an interest in how people from different backgrounds communicate with each other. Settling down in a diverse area of London, she began volunteering in different capacities using her background in the Arts, English and Computer Sciences. In 2016 she co-founded the comic book series ‘BioToons’ as a way to engage younger audiences in science. Upon winning the American Society of Plant Biology’s BLOOME grant, she and her partner published and presented their work to the science community in Hawaii in 2016.
Isotta is passionate about ensuring that voices from each sector of society are heard and used in shaping policy and social reform. She hopes to implement ideas and solutions that faithfully reflect the needs of communities.
Isotta has a Foundation Degree in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins and a BA in English Literature from the University of East Anglia.
