Jackie Simmons

Dr Jackie Simmons is a Lecturer in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching at Columbia University in New York.

Jackie has a wide range of experience in the education field as a teacher, nonprofit manager, and consultant to international and New York-based social sector organisations, schools, and universities. She has been involved in international research and development in Afghanistan, South Africa and Kenya.

As well as being an educator, Jackie is a social innovation consultant, leading Project Innovation for the Rockefeller Foundation, a multimedia resource that will enable international NGO’s to disrupt traditional ways of achieving outcomes and utilise new methods for creating greater social impact.
