Passionately curious about the big issues, Jared has worked across sustainable development in a number of areas: delivering community resilience strategies, low emission infrastructure deployment, and most recently, developed a circular economy framework for built environment projects at WSP in the UK.
With a background in human geography, Jared believes in the power of empathy and human connection to drive positive societal change. Restless at the country’s regressive social fabric, he is motivated to apply his professional skills to bring people together to shape ideas that can have an impact and add value to people’s lives, through co-creation and enterprise.
As the planet faces an ecological emergency, and climate and human well-being move to define the decade, Jared is resolute in using his expertise in the circular economy and knowledge of ecological economic theory, to advance solutions that empower people with dignity and opportunity, but without degrading the planets natural systems, so both communities and nature can thrive.
