Jaskiran Mangat

2021 Fellow

Born and raised in West London, Jaskiran holds a degree in Mathematics and a Masters in Financial Risk and Investment Analysis from the University of Sussex, where she was a Widening Participation mentor and Teach First ambassador.

Jaskiran joins us from the banking sector, having worked across the UK in Risk Management, most recently as an Innovation Manager. Whist at the bank she led teams in The Prince’s Trust Million Makers and internal fundraising challenges to tackle social inequality through enterprise.

Passionate about the equity of education and opportunity and motivated by the continued effects of Covid-19 on society’s most vulnerable, Jaskiran believes social enterprise is key to bringing together diversity of thought, the impact of co-design and the power of the private sector to understand and tackle society’s complex social issues.

Jaskiran is an avid traveller, Latin and Bhangra dancer, learning Spanish in her spare time.
