John is an improvisation trainer. He is the author of Improv and Reading People and has over 25 years’ experience in training and personal development.

In 2001 he formed the Maydays in order to bring the benefits of these fine skills into businesses. The Maydays sold-out performances at the Edinburgh Festival attracted rave reviews and they won Best Comedy Show in the Brighton Fringe Festival for their improvised musicals.

John was voted Speaker of the Decade by the Academy for Chief Executives and works with a range of clients as a speaker and trainer including HTC, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, GSK, Deloitte, PwC, Logica, EDF, EADS, Lloyds TSB, AXA Wealth, T-Mobile and Vistage.

When off stage he is usually found fly fishing.
