Jon Conradi

2021 Fellow

Jon has worked in postgraduate education for over ten years. His focus has been creating peer-to-peer learning communities. He is passionate about environmental sustainability and has an MSc in Sustainability and a postgraduate certificate in Biodiversity and Conservation Management. He is exploring ways to weave these strands together to create meaningful change.

His work in education began as a way to see the world by teaching English. First in China before university and then in Japan for two years, after studying Philosophy and Politics at the University of East Anglia.

Finishing up teaching, he returned to the UK briefly to earn enough to do a snowboarding season in Canada. The job he found to do this (and pay off debts afterwards) was in postgraduate education, and he continued to work in this field. The highlight of this was developing a team to help student-led learning and innovation.
