Jon Foster

Mentor

Jon is committed to changing the way public services are designed and delivered – moving the focus to the needs of the people they serve, developing genuinely new models of delivery, and bringing together health, social care and housing services to work as one.

He previously worked for Origin Housing, an affordable housing and care provider in North London and Hertfordshire. As well as managing a range of award-winning frontline support services, he leads Origin’s charitable activities – re-investing in the communities which the organisation serves.

Previously, Jon has worked for public-sector design agency FutureGov, delivering pilot programmes of Casserole Club and working on a range of other projects with partners from local authority social care departments to Facebook’s policy team, and on themes from early years safeguarding to digital democracy. He is also co-founder of Housing Camp, the unconference for the housing sector, and has worked at Thames Valley Housing on organisational development and welfare reform communications.
