Josephine Liang

Josephine was a 2015/16 Fellow placed at the Bromley-By-Bow Centre where she helped a group of older Bengali women to set up their own catering social enterprise. Her consulting project client was Sainsbury’s, for whom she curated a national food waste innovation event. She was mentored by community engagement expert Catherine Greig.

During college, Josephine received the Freeman Grant and traveled to Hoa Mai Orphanage in Vietnam, which sparked her interest in food innovation when involved in a life-changing mushroom project with her students. Josephine was previously trained as a Chinese Opera actress.
