Katherine (Kasia) Cheng

2020 Fellow

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Katherine moved to the UK to study Politics and International Relations at Cambridge University. Since graduating, she has been working on HIV Policy and Strategy at the United Nations.

Having worked in think-tanks, foundations and international organisations, Katherine is excited to shift her focus to a more innovative approach towards social impact. Entrepreneurship appeals to her specifically for its ability to forge strong relationships with vulnerable communities and the autonomy it gives you to make an impact, without the constraints of bureaucracy.

Outside work, she can be found watching documentaries, playing the ukulele, practising her languages and weightlifting.
