Laura is the Head of the What Works team in the Cabinet Office, leading the ‘What Works’ initiative which is all about getting local and national decision-makers to generate, transmit and adopt robust evidence to inform better public spending decisions.
Previously, Laura was Head of Strategy at the Youth Justice Board and spent four months on a Churchill Fellowship exploring youth justice innovation in Denmark, the US and Brazil. Laura has also worked at he UN and the Treasury, and was a Trustee of the Stephen Lawrence Trust. She is currently proud to be a Trustee of Settle – founded by her 2014 Year Here mentee Rich Grahame.
