Libby Brewster

2020 Fellow

Libby spent 10 years working at multiple sites in Manufacturing Operations. During that time, she developed Production teams working on precision microelectronics to syrups and chocolate sauce. She facilitated process change across Engineering to HR.

Her passion for community and creativity led her to start her own venture, every origin. She is particularly interested in how we can improve our mental well-being. She runs workshops and produces crafting videos in which she encourages conscious living and making. She also leads a walk in East London through the charity Mental Health Mates.

Libby is originally from Scotland, where she studied Engineering. She lived and taught in a Sri Lankan Buddhist monastery for 10 months, then whilst studying worked as a Process Engineer in Malawi. Both experiences impacted her outlook and desire for a more inclusive and sustainable society.
