Liz was a 2017 Fellow. For her frontline placement she worked with Swan Housing Association and advised East Thames Housing Association as part of her consulting project. This project helped bring about the regeneration of the Gascoigne Estate and the development of Barking & Dagenham Renew, a new charity awarding funds to residents of Barking and Dagenham. She was mentored by Tom Bage.
Liz joined Year Hear following her work at the Legal Services Society of British Columbia providing Legal Aid services to asylum seekers, prisoners and families facing child protection issues. She also worked as the European Executive Officer of a disability charity partnered with UEFA, helping to create an online, user-friendly guide to understanding politics during the Canadian election.Liz graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Law in 2014.
