Louis Holliday

2019/20 Fellow

Louis joins us from the Lloyds Banking Group, working with both commercial clients and their social mobility work. A member of Lloyds Banking Group’s Scholarship Programme, Louis joined the bank following university to support relationships with their commercial clients, whilst also coordinating the group’s social mobility work in West Yorkshire.

Growing up in Droitwich in the West Midlands, Louis studied Geography at the University of Birmingham to further his interest in people and the environment and the interaction between the two. His final year project centred around the perception, and associated attitude, towards the elderly in modern society and the subsequent negative impacts this has generated in the form of isolation and chronic loneliness.

Whilst at university, Louis was also a keen volunteer, chairing a social club for adults with learning disabilities. He’s particularly interested in how businesses can use creativity to create greater social impact.
