A year to test and build solutions to some of society's toughest problems.
Max graduated with a first-class degree in Business and Politics from Newcastle University. Beyond academia, university gave Max a platform to further his entrepreneurial ambition, from serving as a member of the Entrepreneur society to working at an ‘Airbnb for storage’ startup and making seed investment decisions as a Student VC. Working on a project to build Newcastle’s first startup ecosystem map of its kind, Max honed skills in digital marketing, copywriting and business development.
Max has also dedicated time to volunteering with GoodGym, and UpRising, where he helped increase voter turnout in local and national elections. Through these experiences, Max has seen first-hand the positive impact a social enterprise can make.
