A year to test and build solutions to some of society's toughest problems.
Mike returned to the social enterprise world after six years in tech startups in roles including in product management, operations and growth. Having sought to deliver social and environmental impact through commercial startups, he is now looking to bring his experience to tackle social problems more directly.
Mike studied BA Geography at the University of Southampton, with the intention of learning about our complex world, its problems, and their interwoven causes. His passion for startups and social enterprise began when he joined the young Enactus team, founding his own project Right Light, and later overseeing a portfolio of social ventures. Upon graduation, Mike worked for Enactus UK where he enjoyed training, mentoring and supporting many young social entrepreneurs, and he continues as an active alumnus.
