Romana Khan

2020/21 Fellow

Born and raised in London, Romana studied Economics with a focus on Development. At university, she ran a summer school for A-levels students, and mentored with Fitzrovia Youth in Action. Keen on community cohesion, she helped found Ramadan Tent, an initiative bringing together people from different walks of life to break bread together.

After completing a grad scheme at EY specialising in technology, media and telecoms, she worked in commercial finance within Sky Media.

Romana has served as a trustee for Muslim Youth Helpline as she is passionate about mental health particularly within BAME and socially disadvantaged communities. She believes in the power of business for good and wishes to tackle social inequality through enterprise and innovation.

In her spare time, she loves cooking, playing tennis and visiting galleries.
