Rosy Banham

2018/19 Fellow

Rosy founded Untold,  a creative programme for residents in temporary accommodation, supporting participants to create pieces of art about the things that matter to them.

Rosy was a 2018/19 Fellow. She worked with St Mungo’s as part of her frontline placement and Ealing Council within her consulting project. She was mentored by Allison Trimble.

Rosy’s background is in theatre. As a director, she has worked predominantly on new plays about contemporary social issues. Her projects have spanned topics from the gig economy to eating disorders and the wellness industry. Her work has been staged at venues across the UK, including Soho Theatre, the Arcola, Oxford Playhouse, Latitude Festival and at the Edinburgh Fringe. Alongside her theatre work, Rosy has volunteered for London Welcome Project, a social centre for refugees. She has programmed theatre productions and workshops for Crisis at Christmas and co-organised events for Wolf Whistled, a group which hosts ‘Days of Doing’ on feminism.
