Roxana spent the last three years running a centre that raises awareness about climate change in Edinburgh. She also worked in different sectors such as international organisations, government and NGO’s in various countries, following innovative and entrepreneurial approaches.
She has six years of economic development experience, including four years leading in the Local Government of Tarija-Bolivia. In this role, she helped create many programmes to foster entrepreneurial culture such as a business incubator and restructured self-employment centres for disadvantaged people in urban and rural areas. Earlier in her career, she worked in the OECD Development Centre in Paris. She holds a Masters degree in Economy and Society, Public Action and Social Action from Université Paris X Nanterre and an MA in Economics from the University of Aberdeen.
She loves travelling, experiencing new cultures, hanging out with friends and dancing in her spare time.
