Sagar Gupta

Sagar co-founded Ally, a chatbot that gives vulnerable young people the information and tools they need to escape the cycle of homelessness.

Sagar was placed at the YMCA North London during the 2016/17 programme. He saw that lots of the clients he was working with had very little support; the charity’s limited funding meant that they had to focus resources on the most vulnerable. He developed Ally as a response to this problem – providing reliable information and advice to help young people move on with their lives.

Before Year Here, Sagar worked for the UN in Bolivia, legally represented victims of trafficking, and founded a start up in Silicon Valley.
