Sandra Nwokeoha

Sandra is passionate about evidence-based innovation that is fit for purpose and is mindful of not generating economic inequalities, with a particular focus on healthcare. After completing a doctorate in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford, Sandra worked in South Africa with the International Citizen Service, where she led a team of volunteers in community development projects including skill-building initiatives for young people, teaching health education in schools and delivering empowerment workshops for the marginalised. In her professional career, she has built significant experience in the translational research of medical technologies from proof-of-concept development through to clinical evaluation in the NHS. Sandra has a strong interest in health tech, clinical research and evidence generation and aspires to improve the lives of people grappling with unmet needs. In her spare time, she loves playing the saxophone, supporting youth ministry and walking in nature.
