Sapna Batra

2019/20 Fellow

Born and raised in London, Sapna has spent the last seven years working in the banking sector. She has worked in a range of client relationship management and trading roles and has a background in business with a degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Bath.

With a passion for fighting inequality, Sapna was heavily involved in the diversity and inclusion initiative in her last workplace and was featured as a role model in Stonewall’s 2017/18 Starting Out careers guide issued to high schools around the UK. Sapna is particularly passionate about mental health and uses her blog ‘Let’s talk about real sh*t’ to open dialogue and tackle stigma. Most recently, she volunteered with We Make Change for the UK’s largest homelessness conference.
