Sophie Imber

With a love for healthcare, Sophie has spent the past few years working as a technology consultant in the Life Sciences sector, exploring the intersection between science, health and technology. She graduated from UCL with a Master’s degree in Natural Sciences, specialising in Neuroscience.

Sophie’s now on a mission to apply her background and experience to be a force for positive social change. She is passionate about making a genuine impact on people through her work, which she has channelled through numerous volunteering roles over the years; from youth offending to her role as a volunteer coordinator at TEDxLondon.

Following these immensely rewarding experiences, Sophie is now joining Year Here to drive social innovation in the capital. She is excited to combine entrepreneurial skills with creativity to tackle society’s big challenges head-on, particularly within the context of mental health.
