Sue Walter

Sue Walter is the Global CEO of the original family members club and day nursery brand, Maggie & Rose, currently located in London, Hong Kong, and Mainland China, with a global membership network of almost 2,000 families.

Sue has occupied the role of CEO of Maggie & Rose for two years. During this time she successfully steered the business through the Covid pandemic whilst continuing the brand’s further growth in mainland China, launching Maggie & Rose Life (a digital learning platform) and laying the foundations for the planned expansion of the London nursery business from Autumn 2021. 

Prior to joining Maggie & Rose, Sue was Group CEO at Osmond Capital-backed Various Eateries Ltd. A role that saw her successfully position the brand for expansion and launch three new Coppa Clubs. Prior to this, Sue was the CEO of the award-winning private members club, The Hospital Club, where she spearheaded the club’s turnaround and growth strategy and led its global expansion into North America.

Between 2005 – 2011 Sue was Managing Director at TSL Education Ltd, the UK’s leading educational digital media agency where she drove the development and launch of TES Prime, an award-winning education leadership recruitment business. Sue also formulated and delivered a public affairs strategy placing TSL at the centre of UK education policymaking. 

Her early career was spent specialising in human resources before migrating over to operational management where she developed a strong interest in launching, growing and turning around business. Sue has built up a 30-year career across diverse organisations ranging from private, not-for-profit, start-up and private equity ventures including The Metropolitan Police Service, The Royal Opera House, Universal Music and Creative & Cultural Skills. 

Sue also holds Board Trustee positions for the MOBOs, Wembley to Soweto and the National Opera Studio.
