Tom is an Education Associate at Enabling Enterprise, a social enterprise aiming to help children develop the enterprise skills, experiences of work, and aspirations to succeed.
Having experienced the joy of teaching through voluntary work with children in India and Indonesia, Tom first stepped into the classroom in a small International Academy in Medan, Indonesia, teaching English, Maths and project-based topics for 4 years across Kindergarten and Primary. After a further year of teaching English in Izmir, Turkey, Tom returned to the UK to complete his teacher training and spent two further years as a Year 4 teacher in Surrey.
Drawing upon a passion for learning through experiences, he joined the Enabling Enterprise team in 2016, where he works closely with schools in the South London and South East area.
